Hillcrest Laboratories has created the first pointer-based, digital media system for TV. Hillcrest enables CE manufacturers and service providers to deliver the most visually engaging and intuitive way to browse, discover, and interact with digital media throughout the home. Components of Hillcrest's digital media system can be embedded across a wide range of in-home entertainment devices including PCs, DVRs, media adapters, and more. The company won the CES innovations award in 2006, 2010 and 2011, was listed as Gartner's "Cool Vendors" in 2006 as well as Sanford C.
