Hillcrest Labs enables CE and peripheral manufacturers, service providers, and internet content companies to deliver the most visually engaging and intuitive way to access, discover, and interact with digital media throughout the home.
Components of Hillcrest Lab’s HōME™ Interactive Media System can be embedded in a wide range of digital entertainment devices including high definition televisions, set–top–boxes and personal computers.
The company won two 2006 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards, presented by the Consumer Electronics Association and the Loop was named as one of Popular Mechanics magazine’s Best of CES 2007. Based in Rockville, Maryland, Hillcrest Labs was founded in 2001 by Dan Simpkins. The company is funded by NEA, Columbia Capital and Grotech Capital.
