Hillcrest Labs began with a charter to change and improve the world.

Our founding team focused on solving a common problem: navigating the explosion of digital media in the home. Frustrated by remote control devices with 50+ buttons, and ineffective electronic interfaces, Hillcrest Labs developed a new navigation system that unifies all media in the home - TV, video, audio, photo, and much more - under a consistent, intuitive, and effective system.

Our revolutionary navigation system uses a new pointer - based remote control - with just 2 buttons and a scroll wheel - to easily browse and choose unlimited content options in just a few clicks. Our technology is highly relevant to consumer electronics and PC products, as well as telecom, cable, and satellite services. And that's just our opening act.
