Hillcrest Labs began with a charter to change and improve the world.
Our founding team focused on solving a common problem: navigating the explosion of digital media in the home. Frustrated by remote control devices with 50+ buttons, and ineffective electronic interfaces, Hillcrest Labs developed a new navigation system that unifies all media in the home–TV, video, audio, photo, and much more–under a consistent, intuitive, and effective system.
Our revolutionary navigation system uses a new pointer–based remote control–with just 2 buttons and a scroll wheel–to easily browse and choose unlimited content options in just a few clicks. Our technology is highly relevant to consumer electronics and PC products, as well as telecom, cable, and satellite services. And that's just our opening act.

- Application Developer - experienced software developer skilled in state-of-the-art, interactive user interfaces using technologies such as AJAX/JavaScript or ActionScript.
